How to pRep for your ResurrEction shoot

As you prepare for the experience of a photoshoot there are some practices that will help you be embodied and free while in front of the camera.

1.) Breathwork

I personally love Wim Hof Method breathing. It relaxes the nervous system so rapidly, more than any other technique I’ve practiced. Find time to practice breathwork daily to get into your body and out of your head. Breath is the most simple and quick way to do so.

2.) Movement

Put together a playlist that when you listen to the music you can’t help but move your body. Then close your eyes and move to the rhythm and tones intuitively. Let your emotions pass through your body and release to the sounds you hear. You can also get on all fours on the floor and close your eyes. Being down on the floor will ground you even further into the earth and allow you to let go in a primal way. For more on this practice check out Michaela Bohem who created Non Linear Movement.

3.) Awaken Sacred Sensuality

In the shower at night caress your body and feel the warm water cleanse it and pour over it. Put music on that makes you feel sexy and move to the music. Think about your innate Divine Feminine power that comes through your sexuality. Open your senses to receive love for your body and its immeasurable beauty. You can also buy a sexy outfit or lingerie and wear it purely for your own enjoyment. You can take sexy selfies in the mirror at home and marvel at how good you look. Get comfortable with how HOT you are babe🔥💋💃!

4.) Write

Journal about any blocks that come up for you. Honor them and be present with yourself while they happen. It’s normal and it’s a part of the process when we are upleveling our self worth. The most important thing is not to ignore them. They are delicious keys to your deep healing journey. If you can, try to think of the first memories you of when they arose for you. Go back to that space and uncover what you need to reprogram about your subconscious beliefs to find healing. For example if you grew up in a religious culture that shamed you for showing too much skin then you must reprogram by imagining yourself growing up with complete freedom to express yourself.

I am so so thrilled to work together and I know you got this love!
